Because the RSI depends on how fast the price rises relative to itself I can't give you a definite number. It's just an old TA graph that often indicates when a stock's price has got too far ahead of its support. But as a guess, I would say should THQI next week spike up to 28-30 we would see a RSI near 80. If the stock from next week began to gain 1/4 point a day we probably wouldn't see an RSI of 80 until the price hit 40-45. For comparison, we had this in Feb/March 1998 when the price hit 32 just before the WCW debacle. The next time it hit 80 was in November when the price hit 26 3/8. This was when Jeff made his triple-something-or-other observation and the price did promptly retreat to 21.

Of course, a lot of TA can be described as science for morons, but when the morons stick together, they make money and they sleep better. I'm sort of moron myself in this regard. If you pull up a 2-year chart that shows the RSI you'll see that the RSI is a pretty good indicator for entry or exit points, that's all.
