Well of course whether Keyes is qualified is quite a subjective matter. I happen to think it unnecessary for one to have been a governor or senator to be able to lead effectively as president. I think such an experience can (but certainly does not necessarily) help, but is no prerequisite for the job. What in my opinion is a definite prerequisite is personal character, something quite lacking in many presidential candidates who have acquired what you think is ‘qualification' for the presidency. Keyes seems to have this prerequisite perhaps above all others, and since his credentials are good and his ideas regarding our government and economy attractive and sound, he thus far will get my support. At this juncture, it seems to me voting for anyone else is but to vote for the fraudulent status quo; and as I have already said, maintaining a gargantuan fraud to keep a few extra bucks in my pocket is simply not worth the effort.
