Hi Jaime,

The reasons I use so many (5) steps in the scale in process are because of the size of the account and my own psychological aspect. I've kept a trading diary for some time now and in my own personal case, I've noted that although I have missed many of the downswings, I have not fully participated in the up-moves. I have, in fact, underperformed my own expectations. This is a personal thing that I have to deal with.... As I said before, underlying all this is that I feel that the market is going to move higher, including short-term downswings, and I have to personally deal with this the best way I can.

I believe that the huge amounts of $$$ in MMF's is like "dry powder" waiting to ignite the market by coming in when it starts moving up in a big way. Also, $$$ going into equity funds is not fully invested immediately when it arrives. So, I think there's lots of buying power out there and I want to be in front of that.

I agree with your NDX-DJIA comparison. In fact, my observation is that NDX leads.

Have a great day!
