Thanks for that info on AWRE (not sure if you were aiming at me specifically but I have some comments anyway).

I was researching ADSL and AWRE with someone else a couple of years ago when we first saw ADSL (DSL?) demo-ed at a computer show and got excited over the investment possibilities - very impressive speed, and cable modems at that time unavailable. The view at that time was that ADSL would win over cable modems, but the reverse has happened, for now - cable winning. My friend bought some AWRE but lost a bit and bailed out. Recent or current PC Magazine comparing DSL, cable modems, satellite - indicates cable modems are the best deal for most end-users currently.

But checking out the AWRE thread I see there are now projections that a newly accepted ADSL "lite" standard may result in ADSL possibly dominating in a few years. And Bell Atlantic is buying a boatload of hardware from NT that indicates a big increase in ADSL useage is coming. It seems that AWRE may get DSL technology royalties, so it may be in a RMBS or QCOM type of situation in the future.

So many stocks - so little time (and $ !) But I think I will add AWRE to my watch list. Any other people interested in AWRE ?
