4 times is a bit exaggerated. at least for the next 2 months. but I do expect the stock to double as Monty announces the allocation of money to emergis and I imagine key acquisitions will follow.

possible explanation for friday's surge: word on 'the street' is that Q1 results are in and revenue growth was higher than forecasted along with e.p.s.( unable to confirm with PR people at IFM).However the best news is that an aquisition of a private co. was finalized with an announcement coming soon. i suspect monty's strategy (imho) will be to announce the acquisition on the momentum of the Q1 results, a double 'whammy' preceeding a split announcement. for those of you with technical knowledge i pose a question : Does DSL compete with Nortel's 1 meg modem or complement it ? news.com i ask this question as DSL seems to complement monty's course, especially now with Ameritech/SBC behind us. Northpoint would 'fit' very nicely with IFM's plans to IPO on nasdaq as Northpoint is scheduled to IPO next month. Also, this would give us the breadth to reach those 'small to medium businesses' that they seem to be targeting and AOL's equivalent in Canada. Then there was the Pointcast negotiations (also a private co.). This is truly the ultimate acquisition as CKFR must associate itself with Yahoo, we will own our own Yahoo, the communication lines, and have the largest single client on the continent - the telephone consortium. A one stop portal for EPP&P, baking, on-line brokerage, mortgages & business info. LET THE FUN BEGIN !!!!!!
