Mike-

That post was from 1996. 2 1/2 years ago. Back when I had a job and owned 1000 shares of IATV :-). Now I'm a grad student and only own 200. What that old post shows me is that, back in 1996, we were all expecting a big revenue stream (bigger than e-school stuff) in the near term - he's talking 2Q and 3Q 1997. The Canadian demo had been successful, Westergaard was hyping the stock on his site, and we were all ready to catch the rocket to 100 by the end of '97 (according to Westergaard).

This highlights one of my concerns for the stock - lack of a definitive roll-out date. In the SEC filing early last week, they mentioned that they would roll-out "in 1999." I would like a firmer date.

I also posed the question (that went unanswered here) - did IATV ever previously publish a roll-out date estimate in one of these filings? In a 1996 filing, did they say "we hope to roll-out in 1997?" If they did, then I don't put too much stock in the statement from the filing that they would roll out "in 1999." If this is the first time they've ever pinned themselves down to a timeframe in a filing, then I would put more faith in it.

Like I mentioned a week or two ago, I'm waiting for the announcement that says "IATV plans first interactive broadcast for MLB all-star game. Coverage of Texas Rangers and Houston Astros to begin 3rd week in July." Or something like that. Pick the All-star game, the Dallas Cowboys opener, the San Antonio Spurs opener next season... something, give us a definite date.
