gc,

IMHO, The main problem with CPQ (company specific issues) is 3-fold:

1. Management integrity is in question because of the way the earnings miss came out. This, in general, is a biggie.

2. Business model. If a 3% revenue miss leads to a 50% earnings miss, that's worrisome.

3. Recent loss of market share.

I'm sure you'll find plenty of folks willing to sell you their stock.

If you buy on Monday, it may be one of the worst decisions of your investment career. Wait till it bottoms out (in the teens) after their earnings report.

jmho,
Frank

I pity anyone who buys CPQ on Monday.
