Hi Rasco: Thank's for your stock-picks and suggesting for dealing with COMPAQ on Monday. I hope we get a few more. (I'm in Liverpool this Grand National weekend and it is very cold). STOCK-PICKER SUNDAY or THE BEST ALTERNATIVE TO AVERAGING DOWN ON COMPAQ Please post your best stock-picks with an explanation why they are a better alternative to averaging down on COMPAQ if it goes to $25 or lower. Comments on market sectors, momentum, fundamentals or technical analysis would be welcome. We had some interesting ideas yesterday. Are all techs due for a big correction? Are boxmakers too problematic? Which company's gets to benefit most from the growth of the internet? What other "communication" sectors are early in a growth phase? Which company's benefit from the growth in low-cost computers and appliances? What non-techs are going to be in vogue for the balance of the year?
