Captain Jack....Thought #1....

Just a thought for Mr. Pfeiffer:

Most CPQ investors are Americans.
Most Americans are pioneers from other countries who where/are free thinkers. They do not like being treated as sheep by information dissemination that is less than truthful, suspect to integrity, or unclear; jeopardizing their desire for the right of self-determination.

Americans are also extremely forgiving and understanding of failure as long as sincere effort is proven. Often siding and supporting the "underdog".

It is therefore, that the key issue with investor mal content is not "what" CPQ has done but "how" the situation has been handled.

It is obvious that Mr. Pfeiffer did not pay attention to the painful lesson that could have been learned from Clinton/Lewinsky situation. There the negative public reaction was more over "how" Clinton handled it than "what" he had done.

IMO….The people who act this way are motivated by ego (not admitting that they were wrong) and cowardice (not willing to accept responsibility, until forced to).

The net result of this action indicates a tremendous lack of respect for the investor.
This fosters distrust, alienation, and anger.

For not standing up to his responsibilities Mr. Pfeiffer should be Eckhardt "Feigling".

Maybe this thought should be for Mr. Rosen.
