victor--- I have found the most succes comes when only the best managers are hired promoted and retained. The most SR mgr must stay on top of things only. If he has the best working for him he needs be only a figure head with a finger on the pulse of the organization. Infighting never works and those in a power struggle need to be moved on. Those that do a great job need to be told and rewarded. Those that disappoint need to be dumped. It seems to me EM does NOT fit that catagory and EP has not seen that he received the direction or help required required but rewarded him anyway---. As both of them have failed mierably and it is almost a replay of 97 indicating they do not learn from past mistakes it is time for them to be terminated. If they worked for you and did this type of thing TWICE would you pay them milions to hang on and do it again??
