Analyst Recommendation

I hereby declare myself an ANALyst specializing in Sandisk stock. I feel that I am just as smart as the other ANALysts, just as knowledgeable and just as up-to-date with all matters concerning Sandisk.

I initiate coverage of Sandisk with a "Table-Pounding Buy".

Sandisk has a very strong patent portfolio in a new-paradigm technology. Sales of CF and MMC memories are booming and new design-ins are coming every week. Besides the growing use of digital cameras, we are now seeing portable computing devices and MP3 players with flash memories hit the market. Sandisk has already won a major decision over Samsung and has a history of enforcing their patents. They have cross licensing agreements with Samsung, Hitachi and several others. Several Korean companies have just decided to use CompactFlash style memories in their MP3 devices that should be fully "flooded" into the marketplace before the Christmas shopping season.

The CEO's comments in the last quarterly report were very positive and I have heard nothing to the contrary since then.

The growth of portable digital devices over the next year will drive the increase in revenues and profits for Sandisk. Sandisk provides non-volatile memories that retain their data when power is removed, and this is just what's needed for a whole new body of products coming to market over the next ten years. The company is grossly misunderstood and once any serious ANALyst like myself takes a look, they usually come to the same conclusion, as evidenced by all the other recommendations made recently.

I consider this stock undervalued.

Please do your own due diligence, but I can assure you that my comments are worth just as much as anyone else's, especially now that I'm an ANALyst.

Binx,

The lowest price I have seen for the DC 260 is offered by Best Stop Digital for $649.00. You may wish to check the website for an updated price and shipping costs. I could not find prices there myself, but the number to call is 1-800-339-8357. If you do not live in the State where it is shipped you can avoid State tax on the purchase.

beststopdigital.com

I have not done business with them before, so I would probably talk to a sales person and make sure that the offer is legit. In particular, I would ask if it is a new item or a refurbished item.

I have had good luck with on-line purchases to date.

I have not priced this item at any retail stores. I am certain it is in the $700 to $900 range.
