Jim:

Value of $ 100 invested in Intel

If purchased 5 yrs ago worth 805.00 today
10 yrs ago worth 4,210.00 today
26 yrs ago worth 162,338.00 today

I have not followed AMD over the yrs but the stock seems extremely low. Does AMD have the wide range of products which Intel has ?
Can AMD afford to increase market share at the low end of the
PC $ 1000 market, or are they simply increasing their losses trying to buy increase market share ? Do they have other products at the high end to offset losses at the low end ? How many times have they split the stock, and how much money have investors made with the stock? The performance of Intel stock speaks for itself.
