Luc, Does this guy qualify for clown status ? --------------------------------------------------------- Sage MikeM: Please join us in welcoming Todd Shaver, Editor-in-Chief of The Bull Market Report. Sage MikeM: Todd, do you feel the market is due for a correction? ToddShaver: I do not think the market is due for a correction. It may come down a few hundred points here, but that's what markets do, they go up and they go down. Question: Your opinion on Dell - Is it breaking out? ToddShaver: Dell is one of the greatest corporations in the world. They're doing $14 million a day on the internet and they're incredibly profitable. The PC business is still driving the global economies and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future. We would buy Dell any day of the week on strength or on weakness. Question: Do you think yhoo earnings will be above street estimates? ToddShaver: Hard to say, no one knows. But, I think Yahoo! has some of the greatest potential of any stock that we follow, and whether they're above or below estimates for this quarter by a penny or two doesn't really affect us, since we're looking at Yahoo! as a five year investment. Question: How do you feel growth on Lucent? ToddShaver: Super. Lucent is at the forefront of most technologies on the internet. They compete with CSCO in some areas and in other areas they have very little competition. Lucent is one of our Fab Six and we would buy Lucent any day of the week. Question: Outlook on Hewlett Packard? Todd Shaver: We used to have Hewlett Packard in our aggressive portfolio, but we lost patience with them because they went for so many quarters without any significant revenue or earnings increases. Hewlett Packard is a great company, a fine company to own for the long term, but we wouldn't rush out to buy it today because there are so many other better choices. Question: IS CMGI TOO EXPENSIVE? ToddShaver: Cisco is our top pick of any stock we follow. We would buy this right now at 3: 50pm eastern, 10 minutes before the close or tomorrow on the opening, or next week or next month. Cicso is a powerhouse and if they're not number 1 or number 2 in a particular segment of business, they buy the competition. Question: What are your "fab 6" companies/ ToddShaver: Microsoft, Intel, Cisco, MCI Worldcom, Dell and Lucent.
