I think you are right.

There are day traders that do not like to trade illiquid stocks and there are momentum traders that like to ride a wave. Maybe some momentum traders created the initial volume which in turn got some day traders involved.

Maybe the volume was initially created by some investors realizing the potential this company had which attracted some momentum players which in turn attracted some traders. Your guess is as good as mine.

I bought my shares Thursday right before the close and added to my position Friday morning. Seeing the price the stock was trading at during lunch time, I couldn't resist selling some of the shares that were purchased to lock in some profits. Will be adding to my position this week.
