Greetings Shalom, and all who love the Lord Jesus Christ. Thank you for your question Shalom, to which I will try to answer. The scriptures I gave Grampa support the view that there is an " age of accountablity ", but do not define this specific age. I do not know what age this is exactly as it varies with each individual and I really do not believe any other person knows when this age is reached for the individual. God is the only One who knows when the child has reached this age, since He looks at the " heart " while we look at the outward manifestations. Ignorance of ,or the awareness of knowing good and evil tends to denote infancy. Being a father I have seen with my offspring, the awareness and knowledge of good and evil ranging from 5-9 years of age, but again I must say, that is only what I think I saw since I am limited to what my natural senses are telling me, which are very unreliable at the best of times. I close now Shalom, with Romans 9:15-16, " I will have mercy on whomever I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whomever I will have compassion. So then it is not then of him who wills, nor of him who runs, BUT OF GOD WHO SHOWS MERCY. Blessed beyond measure are we Shalom that the Eternal father has shown us Mercy and revealed His Son in us. Praise His Holy Name forevermore. Hope this answers your question satisfactory. Robert
