As long as we are on the topic of PC sales, one of Bill Flankenstine's (sp?) arguments for bear case on PC related stocks was that the PC now has a 55% penetration and even if you grant it a TV like penetration of 95%, since the ASPs have droped from 2000 to 1000, there is no growth left to support such hefty valuations. I have not run the numbers to see if they make sense, but I find the argument interesting. When (if?) the market comes to believe the same, there will be a serious melt down in the techs. Communication stocks should do well though.
