drsvelte/fortinwit, etal:

re: VDAT...comes up strong on a screen i use for stocks with 3 consecutive days with volume greater than 50dma....usually (but of course not always) pauses after such a run....news articles indicate it's on the bootstraps of the YHOO/BCST and RNWK runs....since this is a 3rd tier player in this universe, i'd pass for now, and wait for pullback

BTW, if you're interested in using this as a general TA site, focusing on price/volume patterns, i'd certainly be interested in expanding the scope of what happens here...

I will short USWEB on Monday.

I started using real money with the GBS system recently. Everything is going well, except for slippage on my losing trades on NASDAQ.

My actual loss is ranging between 7% and 9%. So my reliability must be 60% just to break even. This is a bit disturbing.

I would appreciate any tips on controlling slippage on NASDAQ stop losses.

Thanks,

Archer
