Patrick:

I mostly agree with your assessment of both LSI and the world markets; however, it's what you can't see that can hurt you the most.

From a strictly personal point of view on investing, fear is my friend: I trust no one or nothing but my own judgement; I do not love a stock or an industry; I maintain a hope for the best, play accordingly, but expect the worst. It is that fear that is an integral part of my trading strategy. Past performance bears out my philosophy. It is that mistrust of the market and my rigid attention to stop orders that makes me $ in trading. Buy and hold is fine, as long as the direction is up. That's not to say that I'm a negative person at all---just a cautious one. I have no fear of holding LSI, but I don't trust that it will hit 40 or 50. If it does, I'll be there; if it turns around, I'm outta here. I'm not so dire as ADDI, though, with his "techs getting butchered and LSI in the teens or 20's" (I think 30 at worst).
