Michael, if you want to talk about civilian killings, you might look up the history of Central America in the Reagan years. Of course, Reagan is a saint, so the fact that we were supporting and training the people doing most of the killing of civilians there is, I don't know, coincidence? Morally praiseworthy? A good piece of work on Ronbo's part? Most likely, Reagan had about as much idea of what was really going on there as he did about anything else. I'm sure Neocon could drop some names from the conservative pantheon that can explain the hundreds of thousands of dead there away with a wave of the hand. Jean Kirkpatrick's "authoritarian/totalitarian" thing is good for a laugh in retrospect, not many of her totalitarians around anymore, but the "reformable" "authoritarians" seem to be hanging on pretty well in many places.

When the alleged Clinton death toll gets into 6 figures, you can get back to me, ok?

In fact, I said to everyone to hold on and see: since Clinton is not the only actor in NATO, perhaps it wouldn't be a fiasco...Unfortunately, I read in the Post that Clinton has basically run the show, against the advice of the Pentagon and other security experts... And it shows...
