Good to hear from you, Sam. Sorry but I had a "senior moment" yesterday and I managed to wipe out all of my unanswered "messages". (I proved that S.I. doesn't have this system completely idiot proofed yet !!) I followed that up with an extended senior moment and couldn't remember who they were from !! Oh well....

I think the chances for CAN $3.00/mcf gas are pretty fair. I did a summer contract (May-Oct/99) today at $2.50/GJ delivered @ AECO\NOVA NIT. That's equivalent to roughly $2.45/mcf at the gas plant outlet or Nova inlet point (the common reference point for gas sales prices). A one year firm contract commencing Nov 1/99 would earn a fair premium to that so the $3.00/mcf gas price is certainly within reach. Here's hoping !!!!

On the other hand, I really don't think there's much chance at all that we'll see $23/bbl oil any time soon. I really hope I'm wrong but my own price expectations are much much lower than that.

Have a pleasant evening.

Later,
grayhairs

P.S.-- You enjoy watching that young Fata while you have him done there. He's an exciting hockey player. My guess is that we'll have him back in a Flames uniform next year. He has great skills. He just needs to grow an inch so he'll be "big like Theo" and then we'll be able to keep him here (Only until he's worth a few Million a year of course, then we'll have to let him go too.) :-( :-( :-(
