We used to catch a lot of hell from the Lucent lovers on the Cisco thread, (back when we had a usable Cisco thread!), about how they were going to kill Cisco.

Lu will always do well, with the build out of the communications worldwide, but I have always looked on Lu vs Cisco in the same way as IBM vs Msft, A large, old-line, company vs a new whippersnapper with a monopoly.

Yes but I saw several two months ago. I think LU is going to get whacked one of these days.
