What? Are you trying to say that CPQ isn't company specific? But I saw that guy on TV, and that's what he said. You bears will say anything trying to scare good folks out of their valuable stock positions, won't you?

AR and ALL, The dumbest Compaq spin of the day came from a maroon from Loomis Sayles who was talking on CNBS. His comment was, "I recommend that you use weakness like this to add to a franchise stock like Compaq." But, for some reason, he forgot to mention that he was selling franchise t-shirts and caps with Baltimore Colts and Houston Oiler logos. <g>

Just noticed. Loomis Sayles has nary a mutual fund within 10% of the return of the S&P 500 over 5 or 10 year measuring purposes. I wonder if they have a franchise to sell funds to really dumb people? <G>
