Have you heard about Yeltsin's latest act ? More of a tragedy than a comedy actually : talking about Russia having to jump into a European war to defend Yugoslavia (as a strategy to prevent impeachment procedure against him from starting.) A Wag the Bear scenario.... I wonder how long it will take for Europeans to realize that Clinton is as much of a reckless wacko as Borris....

Oh, right, Les. Want to explain the St. Reagan "cumulative deficit difference" thing again? You add up all those hypothetical cuts that were never actually even proposed, and walla! all the nasty deficits disappear! The kind of political honesty preferred by the rational right around here. Of course, if the magic of Artie Laffer's napkin theory had worked as promised, the deficits never would have happened either. Not that Reagan would have known the difference, one way or the other.
