Went to a local Q2 LAN Party last night (until 4AM, ugh). Tons o' fun. Fascinating to see each of these hard core Quakers machines and how much they lovingly tune it. Many V2 SLI setups and a couple of TNT's and one ATI Rage (which broke under the pressure - hehe). Seeing the overclocked, heavilty cooled TNT card running 1024x768 in a window on the 1600x1200 desktop was neat. With the need for gamers to access satellite programs like ICQ and IRC, 3D in a window will continue to increase in popularity. The great news in this area is that the V3's raw speed really shines under those conditions. Lots of people there are anxiously awaiting V3 3500+. All of them are interested in the TNT2 but there was skepticism that it could do the higher resolution effectively. There was also lots of interest in which chip will handle overclocking better.
