If you look at your license you may see that if you sign, that they can use your body for transplant/ reserch . Maybe your head will bob around in a glass jar for a few semesters ?
Any idea who might be drilling the Brookbank in two weeks?
Will they pry the gold out of my teeth?

Well the are people who may have religious compunctions about the mortal coil and may sue if the state says it needs the bodies. After all its an issue of who owns the flesh. It is nicer to say friends and family do if not yourself. Bad enough the states says it owns my allegiance to it and may use my body for target practice or other experiments during perceived emergencies. What we get in return in privilege for giving up these freedoms of choice I know not. Heaven help the immigrant.

I think it should be individual choice. You could say the flesh is just road kill and state property after it loses volition and control but that would be an issue too. So little logic so much tradition and emotions attached here.
