Dresden supposedly brings them capacity for 30% of the market. This profit disaster we're seeing now is short term...it buys them the foothold they need to move to the next level.

With luck and K7 they will grow a major share of the overall market, consumer AND business, low-end thru high-end...they will gain profitability with this move up the ladder, and they will continue to innovate with K8, K9, the Kentium, support chips, etc.

All this, of course, if they don't go bust trying. As an investment, it's a big-reward vs. total-loss crapshoot.
