I am surprise that in the past you have been interested in electronics and are so pessimistic about your ability to trouble shooting a PC. It is much harder to make a circuit work than to fix a PC. Any half ass technician should be able to fix a PC hardware problem. I know that for some people PCs are intimidating but the should not be. Most of the PC problems are a lose cable or not properly inserted card. The major problem with PCs is the software and as you know most PCs use Windows so there is no advantage with any machines. Too bad that you live in Atlanta if you would live in my area I would demonstrate to you that fixing a PC is no big deal at all.
