Lorne - I'm assuming you're American and are therefore completely ignorant of all facets of Canada and Canadians. Your parting words exemplify this nicely. When the money that Americans spend on what we call social programs is added in our taxes are not obscene. Lowest tax burden for a middle class family living in a city in North America ... Saskatoon. In fact more Canadian cities in the top ten then American. All this and our citizens all have healthcare. Now how many 10's of millions of Americans have no coverage? As far as resource companies being the enemy, well it seems that our companies are doing fine and after all where is your money right now? Voting with your pocketbook I see.
