In real life, he is (was?) a FORE employee

What makes you think that? For an employee, he seems to know very little about the company.

3Com and Aether Team to Bring Enterprise Wireless Data Solutions to
the Palm Computing Platform

Sybase Plans to Utilize Aether's AIM.net to Extend Enterprise Solutions
to Occasionally Connected Users via Palm Computing Platform Products

DEMO MOBILE, CORONADO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 12, 1999--
3Com Corporation (Nasdaq:COMS) and Aether Technologies, the
leading independent provider of wireless data integration services,
today announced a strategic alliance to help fuel the design,
development and deployment of wireless enterprise solutions for the
Palm Computing(R) platform. The two companies will work
together to tightly couple Aether's wireless data solutions and
services with the market-leading family of Palm Computing(R)
connected organizers including the Palm III(TM), Palm IIIx(TM),
Palm V(TM) devices and the forthcoming Palm VII(TM) organizer
which enables real-time wireless access to mission-critical enterprise

The announcement is the first in a series of initiatives between

delivering Palm Computing platform solutions utilizing the
Enterprise Data Wireless Center, Aether's suite of software and

"For large organizations looking to distribute real-time information
wirelessly, this alliance will bring an important set of options to
enterprise customers that complement wireless Palm Computing
platform solutions such as the upcoming Palm VII," said David

established as the most prominent handheld computing environment
in both the enterprise and consumer markets. Combined with our
AIM.net technology, corporations can take highly secure,
customized wireless data solutions from development to deployment
faster and easier than with any other option."

Sybase plans to leverage Aether's AIM.net technology with its
MobiLink enterprise server synchronization to enable wireless
synchronization for occasionally connected Palm organizer users.

IIIx, Palm V organizers, and the forthcoming Palm VII device,
targeting vertical industries such as financial services,
telecommunications, healthcare, and mobile industrial.
