Well, I accept congratulations but I'll admit I sold a chunk for a very small profit as the case in Texas dragged on and on and bought more CSCO with the proceeds. It was clear that the future depended on winning the fight with ERICY (which QCOM could hardly afford to fight). At least I wasted no time trying to analyze the patent situation. What does that have to do with what a judge will rule. ERICY tried to bluff (a stupidly managed company -- a rival like INTC's AMD) not smart enough to be a good rival, but finally folded. Now they are allies and will rule the world. But he who sups with the devil must have a long spoon. Can QCOM hold on and get rich? Beats me. Je maintiendrai. It is an excellent story. I don't want the facts to spoil it.
