Joe LCAV + Fiduciary Responsibility of the BoD, your point is extremely well taken. When a Delaware Judge wrote an article about that (some years back) the CEOs of GM and IBM were fired, among others. Suddenly it was realized: the BoD is responsible for the performance of the Management. Per LCAV Proxy, Gutfreund IS indeed the former Salomon Broth chief. I bought it at $ 4 on Tuesday, first Momentum investment, ever. That's why I keep digging. Joffe was an eye surgeon, I think and founded LCA (Laser Centers of America - he is South African ?), paid it into LCA Vision, or something like that. What impression did you get of the new LCAV marketing VP, since September ? >>...naming of T. Jeffrey Dowdle as Vice President and Director of Marketing.<< Ex-LensCrafter etc If you want to read the whole Press Release (an 8-K)edgar.sec.gov So, you won't tell us what Davilla said. Fair enough. It means you did learn something worthwhile. I hope we learn at least after you placed your orders Monday 8-). There is a lot of pushing SNRS going on, on the BBs. So, I read the SEC stuff - gosh am I glad it downloads in Zip to HK - and I get the idea, a little lame. CEO gets paid like it was a big company (Proxy of April 7, 1999 : $ 355 000 up from $ 212 000 in 1997) but there are all of 32 full-time employees (2 in engineering and development, it says-?? ) taking forever to get their FDA approval. Am I missing something ? I must be. Is there any work going on elsewhere ? Word searches for research or development turned up nothing in the Jan 99 424B3. I am at a loss to understand where the hoopla comes from. If you have time, let me know what I am missing. I look forward to your further postings !! Walter in HK
