Yes, your buddy JLA has informed me how humorless I am many times. I don't know, I've found this whole fetid forum dryly amusing since last November's election. Funny thing, I was reading an article in Harper's last night by, of all people, Christopher Hitchens. On history, as in, you know, the conventional Western Civ kind, not the local variant where Reagan has already been canonized and Clinton dealt eternal damnation. Had some interesting stuff on Twain, he went far beyond the canonical Huck Finn.
