After carefully reviewing all the statements and news releases I could find over the weekend on the CPQ announcement Friday, I have concluded that CPQ shoved machines out the door in the quarter at just about any price to get enough machines out to try to avoid dropping its No. 1 position in the industry. There is only one company that could be about to take over that position - and readers of this thread know who it is.

Buying Dell today (Monday) may be the purchase of a lifetime. All signs indicate that this moment could go down in history as marking the date that Dell became dominant over its Texas rival.
