victor: So where do we end 2-day as a result of keeping market share? And how can we be comfortable with anything said at this CC? This is the main problem. Cutting price to maintain share, temporary market weakness, write offs of inventory -- all of that is within the known and accepted (if not welcomed) business world. The problem with CPQ now is credibility. The manner in which this latest setback (to call it something charitable) was handled has been indefensible. Consider: Do you take Pfeiffer's interview remarks as explanation or excuse? M2
