It looks like the semiconductors are breaking down. For instance, INTC gapped down and is having problems filling gap. The semiconductor stocks is a key industry that has been helping the techs lead the market. Looks like the ranks of stocks are continuing to thin out.

Institutional money started to come into the market about one week ago. What is interesting is that this is giving the opportunity for other institutions to SELL, not buy. On some tech stocks that I have looked at that have been attempting to recover from their sell off, there is about as much buying by the institutions as selling. And many key stocks were not ready to support further gains today.

Be ready to take quick profits. You have many day traders jumping into a small group of stocks, whatever moves up first. You can make good profits if you are quick enough and keep up with the quick rotations of monies. But the NASDAQ and tech market is far from being healthy. In this market I do not recommend going out for errands or lunch while in stock.

Just an alternate point of view. I looked up your list of stocks and I can understand why you are buying them. I think there is a good chance that you will post some nice profits.

dennis,

As planned, we did get the chance to buy the dip. All I know is that I will not touch CPQ.. Did you get anything today? To me AOL looks tired, but who wouldnt after such a run, it has been amazing.

I think AMZN looks primed for an earnings run and split?

I played BIGE 3 times today for a great daytrade, I hope you had a chance to get in it.

I am thinking that there are stocks that are bound to bounce when they go down, stocks like EPAY, EFAX, NSOL, LCOS etc, all internet plays. I am sure you say INKT, that stock really bounced. For now I think I shall momentum daytrade stocks, and wait for a selected group to get kicked around, then pick them up. I see that XMCM is a target to be bought out. I also saw Judy's pick VERT do nicely. I also like VRIO for more of a run.

That was all rambling and I appologize..

What are you looking into?
