Briefing.com 08:33 ET Tech Bellwether Indications : CPQ -6, MSFT -3, DELL -2 1/2, INTC -4 1/2 (post-split), AMAT -1, CSCO -1 1/8, IBM -5, SUNW -1 1/2. 08:30 ET Market Indication : Broader market indicated sharply lower, on heels of Compaq (CPQ) warning. Current level of S&P futures suggests Dow retreat of approximately 130 points at the open. What people have to remember is the Dow was UP over 300 points last week...This is probably healthy. And, a great buying opportunity when things calm down.
