Boeing Moves Up Release Date for
Quarterly Financial Results

SEATTLE, April 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Boeing today announced it has moved up the release date of
its quarterly financial results by one week. ''Consistent with the emphasis on increased velocity,
urgency and intensity in everything at The Boeing Company, the finance team was able to reduce its
cycle time for releasing information much sooner after the completion of the quarter,'' said Debby
Hopkins, Boeing's chief financial officer.

The normal date under the previous schedule would have been to announce first quarter financial
results on April 22, the third week after the end of the quarter. Now, Boeing will release its results
on Thursday, April 15 (5:30 a.m. PDT).

''Obviously, the sooner we can get the books closed each quarter, the faster we can act on the
results,'' Hopkins said. ''This is a good start toward reaching world class standards.''
