NW: If you pointed a gun at my right temple and forced me to guess to save my life, I would say that it will improve a bit from this, then bounce around all week - especially jittery on Friday and Tuesday, and will settle in the $24-27 range.

If you then pointed the same or a similar gun at my left temple and forced me to actually forecast, I would say that it will be at $34 by then middle of July.

That being the case, it is not worth watching the kettle boil. If we are all to stay together on this thread - we had better use it to discuss other stocks and prospects, as well as COMPAQ. Otherwise we will go mad.

I think it will exceed $55 before the year end but will I hold once it gets back to $41? (he looks around at all the grown ups frowning at him and awaiting his reply ) I dunno.

NW: When was the last count for shorts? I would have thought there were some new one's today. But if I were a short, I would be nervous. Why wait for a possible lower bottom, when you have a nice profit.

MESSAGE TO SHORTS - for the good of humanity, please cover your positions.

NW: My thoughts on today's Amateur Hour, which, of course, is another one of my copyrighted terms <ggg> .....

The second half of "AH" usually tends to reverse the first half. Since many traders know that, I wouldn't be surprised to see another round of selling after 10:30. I would be cautious.
