<<"their quarter hasn't ended yet." >>

I don't know quite what to believe when it comes to pronouncements from the PC industry. The implication here is that late quarter price erosion impacted CPQ greater than had been anticipated. But I believe that CPQ was hurt by the Celeron movement and being caught with far too many AMD k6-2 units with inferior fps capability. No, I don't have any data to support this supposition, just a feeling.

I'll be very interested to see if CPQ alters its mix and includes more Celeron systems.

To All, Incyte is roaring today because they are suing Affyrwhatever. I did not buy more when it was down. I was waiting for another half point. Dumb. I did buy back calls in my IRA income position, which was smart. I am putting on new Septs struck at $25 as we speak.
