Agreed. I do not think he should consider multiple installations. The only choice is which boot to make the one installation on. He will be able to service all drives from the one boot. Booting the multiple OSes is only a problem if he chooses to make multiple installations.... if my understanding is correct.

Either my or your understanding of Seans recommendation is incorrect. Historically.. its been me<g>

But i understood Sean W. to say multiple installs of BE and Diskeeper is manditory if i want to be able to execute from any of the three drives which in reality is either of the two operations drives.. KOT is not really part of my daily backup anf defrag planning.

My my understanding of the problem he already has three OS installations and wants his backup to run regardless of which is booted at night time. This is whats complicating everything. Running 1 config and doing everything from there makes this whole problem go away. Thats why I said he was making his life unnecessarily complicated.
