Mike,

Today's action is typical bull denial but I'm wondering what the main contributor is:

Options expiration rig week.

Seasonal tax season inflows.

The latest designer drug on Wall St.

About COF (Capital One Financial)--curious as to your basis for the statement below. COF's earnings are due out Thursday and are expected to be $1.18, as opposed to 96 cents in the same quarter last year. Company has been projected to grow 20 percent this year. Also listed at the very top of successful companies based in the Washington, D.C. metro area, and one of the most profitable, if not THE most profitable in the credit card industry. Do you know something new? Thanks in advance.

<< I don't think the COF 110s are too far out of the money. This dog goes to $40 if the credit binge slows in any way, shape, or form. The Linears seem a bit far out until you look at the charts from last Fall. The industry is in worse shape now. >>
