Chuzz- It appears that Compaq's attempts to go from indirect to direct are about as difficult as Russia's attempt to go from planned economy to a (regulated) free-market system..

Where are the bears (who used to argue) that the direct model was easily emulated and provided little or no competitive advantage. Au contraire...
