They're innocent, really, having simply believed a story that makes them feel good, and 'special.' Usually they were told this story over and over again by the parents and friends they trusted, when they were children. It's only a thought-crime, (looking forward gleefully to the toasting of those who see you as a dope); until of course you try to jam your views down the throats of other people and their children.
