Now 7 5/8.

All of this hit me by surprise too; I'd gotten out of the habit of watching MRVC closely because it was just too unproductive. But the time and tape is interesting.

The stock opened down 1/4 at 6 1/8. Some poor sucker sold 7500 shares at 6 1/8 and it was all uphill from there. Mostly small individual trades of ~1000 shares until we hit 6 1/2 when we had two trades of 10,000 and 11,900 at that price at 11:03 and 11:08 respectively. Then quickly a 23,200 share block at 6 3/4, also at 11:08. The stock inched up to 6 7/8 for the next half hour when- out of the blue - we had a block of 47,900 go off at 7 3/32 - which had to be way above the ask. Then lots of trades of between 3-5K at 7 1/8.

Bottom line: we are seeing institutional buying and these institutions are not quibbling over 1/16th of a point; maybe not even 1/8th - not at these low prices.
