<<"Dell has increased market share consecutively in every quarter since the fourth quarter of 1997 and the preliminary results from the first quarter of 1999 indicate that Dell is now opening up a sizable lead . . ." the study said. The full study is available online at zdinfobeads.com. >>

Kemble: DELL's track record is impressive.....they know how to EXECUTE....just wait until they move into the HIGH MARGIN storage market in a BIG WAY.....IMHO, the hand writing is on the wall <GG>..

DELL will rise Again --- Big Time !!

Best Regards,

Scott

Kemble, I was just going to post the same article when I saw you beat me to the draw. Interesting survey...hope the article is seen by all the Analysts and Cpq management. I suspect that Cpq's management doesn't know what's going on in their company, so they may gain some insight from the survey. <ggg> Do you think we should arrange for a formal Cpq surrender and have Michael Dell accept the Cpq flag on the parade field. We can have the band playing in the background. <vbg>

Good luck,

Stock Bull

One thing I haven't heard any talk about is the fact that Dell is 150 or so miles up route 290 from CPQ. CPQ still has a lot of quality people (I know some of them). They must be feeling frustrated over the stock price (I've not discussed this with them, though). With Dell continuing to grow, I'll wager that more than a few good CPQ people have made the drive up 290 to pick up some options with price apreciation potential.
