SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 12, 1999 via NewsEdge Corporation -
Wireless Knowledge LLC, a joint venture company between Microsoft Corp. (NASDAQ: MSFT) and
QUALCOMM Inc. (NASDAQ: QCOM) today announced the appointment of Peter A. Price as chief financial
officer.

Price will be responsible for all areas of Wireless Knowledge's financial management, including financial
planning, accounting and business analysis. With the addition of Price as CFO, the executive management
team consists of John Major, president and CEO; Randy Salo, vice president of engineering; Dave Whalen,
vice president of sales and marketing, and Rhonda Wagner, vice president, general counsel and secretary.
Wireless Knowledge, formed in November 1998, is focused on bringing true convergence to wireless
communications and IT/computing.

Price brings more than 13 years of finance and accounting management experience to his role at Wireless
Knowledge. Most recently, he was vice president of finance and CFO of Packet Engines Incorporated, a gigabit
routing switch company, where he was a key member of the executive management team and successfully led
a private equity financing of $16 million and headed the finance and legal teams through the sale of Packet
Engines to Alcatel for $315 million. At Packet Engines, Price was responsible for equity and debt financing,
business and financial planning, bank relations and the internal management of accounting and finance,
legal, MIS and human resources.

Prior to Packet Engines, Price served as the North American controller for Microsoft Corporation from 1994 to
1996. In this role, he was responsible for monthly financial reporting and analysis, annual budget and
forecasting processes, mid-year business reviews from a financial perspective and management of accounting
and control processes.

Thanks for the reply - it would be good to some fresh investment in the company. So do your own DD and if you like to roll the dice good luck with your investment.

BTW, I'm sure you've seen the after bell news on 'Kenya'. This is the kind of technology that gives GMGC such promise (if not immediate revenue). These are the kinds of developments I would like to imagine your friend is excited by. Combination of voice and GMGC's mobile agents - market that well and you are sitting pretty in two huge future markets.
