Isn't AMD gunning for 1 GHz by the end of 2000 in 0.18 microns? You're saying AMD can get to 1 GHz before the end of 2000 in 0.25 microns?

I think they are being conservative with the MHz projections for K7. From 600 MHz to 1000 MHz is only a 66% increase in clock speed, which they have accomplished on K6 is a short time period, and without going to a new process.
