Scumbria - <You have ignored a key factor here. The 200x market capitalization of INTC relative to AMD. If they only make 2 billion dollars a quarter, the investors lose money. In contrast, any good news from AMD causes the stock to go up.>

Scumbria, I know both of these things. These are all speculations at this point, no? I have no doubt that Intel stock can go down if the scenario you describes comes to pass, which don't believe it will. Also, I have no doubt that if AMD can execute the K7 plan AMD stock will go up. The stock isn't going anywhere for either company until later in the year, when all these grand plans for both companies are implemented. BTW, $2B is a pretty low estimate. I don't even think A.A. would predict something like that.
