It doesn't take any magic to start a thread. I have started a few in the past. I don't take it as a matter of pride that 'I started it'. Big assumption you make there. Why would you think she is envious of you? Calling people names in general doesn't lend itself to 'acting professionally'? What makes you think 'sharkess' was a reference to you? Why would you think that? You must have been reading her posts and studying them pretty hard to get that bit of information. Perhaps you are envious of her? Is that possible? Would you be willing to admit to that? I think its great you can lead a thread, but I don't think its a prestious fact that 'you' started and lead it. (btw: how can you lead a thread? AT SI You the member have no control over what people say on the thread). Now I have never read your thread since I get most of my picks directly from the Valueline and SI is my source for alternate info, but the quality of a thread is dependant on the people who post to it. Until today I had never heard of your thread, your website, nor you. Your example here is not impressing me on your ability to be a good role model. Ok someone from a reputable financial media source contacted you. Big deal. IS this person for real or is it just a imaginary friend? Maybe you should change your name to 'sharkess' then perhaps there would be a concrete connection. Lastly your words: and not everyone can be a role model or act professionally. I probably gave her too much credit and too lofty a goal. Some people don't have the ability to be professional, concise and analytical in their posts. All of the things you talk about in the paragraph above are violated in the first paragraph. Face it: this is SI, Anyone can start a thread. It doesn't take a diploma to lead a thread. Any member can lead a thread. If it is trully your last statement, then you should 1) Post another public message to SI Bob stating you don't want the post in question removed. 2) You should also publically apologize here to Sue S. for calling her a yenta (whatever that is supposed to mean) 3) You should apologize to Cheeky for implying that he is not a better role model in the way he works a thread. 4) You should apologize to the group here in general (this thread) for displaying such arrogance in being a popular poster. (although 1 & 4 could be combined) 5) You should apologize here for stating this thread is in the slums of SI Message 8858841 .
