Reports for semi-conductors are positive for the future. Next year is suppose to be good for AMAT or Applied Materials. Exception is Advanced Micro-Devices. I invested in their company a number of years ago. At that time they were unable to put a chip in a box to chip. I hear they have shipping problems, still. Their problems should benefit Intel.

Have no idea what TXN's future price will be. I've sold in the past. This time, I consider TXN "a keeper". This means I will hold for at least next three years.

Hi Aggie and Welcome Aboard,

Disclosure, I'm not a trader nor a timer. I try to find good companies and hold them to death. Being forewarned, IMO regarding TXN's short-term outlook, a split is likely with around 15-20% upside from here.

FWIW,
Pat
